What's Best For You?
I am always asked, "What would be the best type of class for me..... privates or groups?" I feel that it depends on a few factors:

1) Do you mind dancing around other people?
2) Do you mind switching dances usually on a monthly basis?
3) Are you preparing for something special?

Here is a basic guideline as to what each type of learning experience is best suited for:

Private Lessons:
Easiest, quickest and most personalized. Best for: crash course for a wedding or a crash course in, say, the mambo.

Group Lessons:
Learning new steps or refreshing the basics. Best for: learning lead and follow with any partner.

AND DON"T FORGET.......

Practice Parties:
Use it or lose it. Best for: working out the bugs in your steps, learning to navigate in crowds. (Elizabeth Edwards from Omaha Ballroom offers her Friday Night Mixers every week...this is a great venue to practice your dancing in between lessons!!)
